A unique blade designed and engineered to cut a variety of those difficult to cut materials. For use on all high speed, gas powered, hand-held rotary saws. Available in popular sizes to fit either portable gas saws, 7" and 8" electric hand held saws or smaller floor type saws. D'AX will slice through a multitude of applications all with the same blade. D'AX blades don't need sharpening, simply reverse rotation and continue cutting. They'll cut in any direction and are unaffected by many perils which would ordinarily destroy normal carbide tipped blades. D'AX Cuts Through: Insulation materials, tar and gravel roofs, shingle roofs, dry wall, wood - metal studding, fire doors, corrugated roofing, plastic, sheet metal, tin, sheet aluminum, tires, auto body panels, tree roots, ice, frozen materials, hard reinforced rubber, expansion joint sealant, chip board, hard board, press wood, countertops, pallets, timber, hardwood flooring, decking, cardboards, paperboards. Important Notes regarding the use of D'AX... D'AX is a segmented carbide blade and is designed to cut a multitude of different materials. However, its usage is limited, if an application is questionable, please contact your DSI representative. When sawing, dust and material particles will be common as this product is very aggressive. Wear eye, face and protective clothing when using D'AX. Read warning and operating instruction sheet enclosed with product. Conforms with Cal. O.S.H.A. requirements.
Carbide Cutting Blade: This blade is designed for use on a wide variety of building materials. When sawing, dust and flying particles will be common place as this product is very aggressive. Inspection:Examine this blade regularly to ensure the there are no signs of cracking or other damage. DO NOT USE if damage is suspected. For Best Results:Refer to enclosed operating hints. Ensure material being sawn is securely held. Operate blade at the recommended speed of the blade. Also allow the blade to cut freely and do not force it. CAUTION:Wear eye, face, and protective clothing when using the power saw. Do not wear loose clothing (necktie, loose sleeves, scarf, etc.) that can catch in the spinning blade. Also, be sure that the saw has the proper blade guard in place and that it is working properly. OPERATING HINTS:- D'AX has been engineered to cut a wide variety of building materials excluding concrete and
brick. Attempts to cut concrete and brick can result in rapid wear and blade damage. - Remove any build up of tar, etc., with a wire brush and an appropriate solvent.
- Always operate the saw at full throttle. (Do not exceed the maximum RPM shown on the
blade.) - D'AX can be mounted in either direction. When cutting becomes slow and the blade has dulled, remove the blade, turn it around and re-mount it. D'AX will again provide rapid cutting.
FOR BEST CUTTING RESULTS:- WOOD: For best cutting results in wood, wood with nails, etc., use a back and forth
"sawing" motion. This is particularly important when cutting hard woods and wood thicker than 1 (one) inch. - METAL: D'AX will provide rapid cutting in sheet metals. When possible, start the cut from the edge of the material. If cutting must start in the middle of the material, apply additional pressure to ini-
tially peneffate the material. Cut at full depth. DO NOT CUT METAL THICKER THAN 3/16". Attempts to do so may result in rapid blade wear, cracks in the blade and potential injury to the operator and/or persons in the immediate area. - PLASTIC, FIBERGLASS & COMPOSITE MATERIALS: For best cutting results, plunge cut all the way through the material. Periodically inspect the blade for residue build-up. Remove residue with a
wire brush and an appropriate solvent. - RUBBER, CAULK & SEALANTS: For shallow cutting, cut at desired depth. If deeper cutting is required, use a back and forth "sawing" action. Periodically inspect
the blade for residue build-up. Remove residue with a wire brush and an appropriate solvent.
