INJECT LVI 300 is a low viscosity 2 component moisture insensitive 100% solid structural epoxy adhesive for pressure grouting of non-moving cracks. Gravity feed of horizontal cracks in slabs and masonry. INJECT LVI 300 can also be mixed with aggregate to make a high strength epoxy repair mortar for use as a grout for setting anchor bolts, dowels, or rebar into concrete. This formulation is designed for use with dual component pumps.PHYSICAL PROPERTIES UNCURED RESIN PART A PART B (CATALYST) APPEARANCE CLEAR LIQUID AMBER LIQUID VISCOSITY 300 cps @ 25ºC (77ºF) 95 cps @ 25ºC (77ºF) ASTM D - 1638 SOLIDS 100% 100% ASTM D - 1010 SPECIFIC GRAVITY 1.05 0.95 ASTM D - 1638 FLASH POINT >170ºC (338ºF) >155ºC (311ºF) ASTM D - 93 WEIGHT 4.08 kg (9 l bs) 3.85 kg (8.5 lbs) MIX RATIO 100 50 GEL TIME ................................Approx. 20 - 45 MINUTES........................................

Packaging: This product is INJECT-LVI 300. It is packaged in a 3 gal (11.36 liter) kit. (2:1 mix ratio) Mixing: If using single component pumps, mix only the amount of material that can be used before the pot life expires 20 to 45 minutes depending on temperature. Mix two (2) parts of resin (Part A) to (1) one part of hardener (Part B). ALWAYS MIX THOROUGHLY! IMPROPER MIXING IS THE GREATEST CAUSE OF EPOXY SYSTEMS FAILURE. Be sure to thoroughly scrape sides of mixing container to get all unblended resin. For dual pumps set metering equipment for 2:1 BY VOLUME OF A:B INJECT-LVI 300 and use a static mixing attachment.Injecting: Unless the crack is wide open and will not resist the injected INJECT-LVI 300 we recommend using high pressure injection methods using the Hammer-In Plastic Packers or in poor concrete, the Mechanical (Metal) Packers to achieve pressures which will sufficiently fill the entire crack. Single Component Pump Caution: Warm or hot weather conditions will greatly increase the gel time of the standard mix of INJECT-LVI 300 . Keep the batch cool. Viscosity will increase as time passes making it harder to inject the product requiring higher pressures. Large mixed batches will begin to generate their own heat as the gel pot life progresses causing a flash of the product in the pump if using single component pumps. When this happens the product may be hot enough to burn skin and boil water.Safe Single Component Pump Use: The use of our Slow Set Epoxy product INJECT LVI 300 SS will allow the use of single component pumps.Limitations: Minimum substrate temperature is 5°C (40°F) Thinning with solvents will prevent proper cure. Minimum age of concrete must be 5-7 days, depending on curing and drying conditions, for mortar. Cleanup: Uncured material can be removed with xylene or another approved solvent. Cured material can only be removed mechanically. Use absorbent material to collect spills and drips. Flush area with water. Dispose of in accordance with local, provincial, state and federal disposal regulations. Safety: Always wear protective equipment when working with epoxies and their additives. Wear approved safety glasses or goggles. A face shield is advisable when working with materials under pressure. Rubber gloves will protect & prevent adhesion of product to hands. Keep spectators back. It is advisable to always keep one hand on the coupler while injecting to minimize random spraying if the coupler pops off or there is a blowout. EYE CONTACT: Flush immediately with water for at least 15 minutes. Contact physician immediately. RESPIRATORY CONTACT: Remove person to fresh air. SKIN CONTACT: Remove any contaminated clothing. Remove epoxy immediately with a dry cloth or paper towel. Solvents should not be used as they carry the irritant into the skin. Wash skin thoroughly with soap and water.
