CPD® EPOXFLEX LT GROUT is a heavy duty resin-rich highly abrasion resistant epoxy floor patching material. It consists of a 100% solids, two component epoxy resin binder with a fiber modified high strength aggregate for maximum protection.

CPD® EPOXFLEX LT GROUT is designed for concrete floor repairs in heavy service industrial plants. The cured product exhibits excellent mechanical properties as well as high abrasion resistance.

Saw cut a rectangular perimeter around the concrete floor area to be repaired. Chip down to 25mm (1") minimum to create a box with the bottom having a minimum profile. Any exposed rebar should be wire brushed prior to grouting. Any corroded rebar must be replaced. If water is used for saw cutting/chipping dust suppression power wash (water only) to remove all mud and particles. Allow to dry (or force air dry) prior to priming. When steel channel is encountered degrease and wire brush to reveal continuous bright metal.

After concrete preparation, prime all areas with CPD® EPOXFLEX LT GROUT (resin only). If the entire unit is not being used, premix both Part “A” and “B” prior to removing product from containers. If using entire unit, mix as outlined under product mixing below. Mix the resin by combining 2 volumes of Part “A” with one volume of Part “B”. Mix for a minimum of 3 minutes then apply with broom or stiff masonry brush - avoid pooling.

CPD® EPOXFLEX LT GROUT can be mixed in a mortar mixer or a 60L galvanized steel garbage can. For a 60L can mix utilize a slow variable speed heavy duty 3/4" drill with a sigma mixing blade.
Mix the 3.79L unit of CPD® EPOXFLEX LT GROUT by adding Part “B” to Part “A” and mixing for 2 minutes. Thereafter, pour the mixed gallon into the Part “B” can and mix for one minute. Use a slow speed drill with a “Jiffy” mixer blade.
Pour the mixed gallon into the 60L pail, then add the aggregate slowly, while mixing. When using a mortar mixer (5ft³ unit) you can mix up to 5 units at a time. Always add the mixed resin to the mortar mixer first followed by the aggregate component. Once the aggregate is uniformly mixed (no dry lumps) discharge, place and finish as soon as possible. If a smooth finish is desired, use mineral spirits as a trowel lubricant (do not use water or any other solvent as a finishing aid).

• minimum substrate application temperature is 10°C (50°F)

• do not store resin below 4.5°C (40°F)

0.014m³ (0.5ft³) Consists of 1 x 3.79L (1 U.S. Gal.) resin unit + 1 x 25kg (55lbs.) bag of CPD® EPOXFLEX LT GROUT AGGREGATE KEVLAR FLAT.
0.070m³ (2.5ft³) Consists of 1 x 18.9L (5 U.S. Gal.) resin unit + 5 x 25kg (55lbs.) bag of CPD® EPOXFLEX LT GROUT AGGREGATE KEVLAR FLAT.
The 0.014m³ (0.5 ft³) unit is for smaller jobs while the 0.07m³ (2.5 ft³) unit is ideal for larger jobs using a mortar mixer.

Clean all equipment with CPD® Xylol before epoxy hardens.

Protect from freezing as the resin component of this product may crystallize at temperatures below 4.5°C (40°F).

Two years from the date of manufacture when stored in original containers under normal heated warehouse conditions.
