APPLICATION
SURFACE PREPARATION
Concrete should be sound and free from dust, loose particles and all foreign contamination. All concrete should be chemically cleaned or mechanically scarified for best results. New concrete should be cured 30 days and any surface laitance or curing compound must be removed. For anchorages, core holes should be scored, free of all dust and mud and dry for maximum bond. Holes should be of a minimum of 4 mm greater in diameter than the anchor. Anchorages must be free of all rust, scale and mill oil. A solvent wash is recommended for all anchorages prior to installation. Fill holes to slight excess required, insert anchorage and rotate slowly to assure that no air pockets remain. Steel surfaces should be free of dirt, grease, oil or rust. Blast surface using an angular medium such as aluminum oxide or grit to SSPC-SP10 standard, with a minium profile of 2.5 mils. Where sandblasting is not practical, the surface should be degreased and mechanically abraded to reveal continuous bright metal. MIXING
Premix each component separately before using. Combine 2 parts (by volume) of Part A with 1 part (by volume) of Part B. Mix with a low speed drill. Thoroughly blend the material until an even consistency is achieved, periodically scraping down sides and bottom of container. Apply as soon as possible as pot life is limited.
