DESCRIPTION
CPD® Chlorinated Rubber Cure & Seal is a rapid drying chlorinated rubber based sealer designed to cure, seal and dustproof interior concrete floors and slabs. When applied to freshly placed and finished concrete surfaces, it prevents rapid evaporation of the gauging water, providing an efficient and economical method of curing concrete. BENEFITS • seals out construction stains and reduces the cost of cleaning up after work is completed • retards surface evaporation of gauging water thereby insuring proper curing of new concrete floors APPLICATION Apply by roller or low pressure hand or power spray evenly to concrete surfaces approximately 1-2 hours after completion of finishing operations and/or immediately after disappearance of surface moisture. Under normal conditions, surface coating will be dry in approximately 2 hours. A second coat should be applied only after an overnight drying period of the first coat. Provide ventilation in work area during and after application. LIMITATIONS • CPD® Chlorinated Rubber Cure & Seal yellows slightly and should not be used on white cement concrete, exposed aggregate or wherever yellowing will be objectionable. CPD® Acrylic Cure & Seal may be used where a non-yellowing sealer is desired. • do not use CPD® Chlorinated Rubber Cure & Seal for exterior applications. • food stuffs such as meats, vegetables and dairy products, etc. may pick up odors when this product is drying. • wood or tile flooring laid with an adhesive should not be applied over concrete floors cured with CPD® Chlorinated Rubber Cure & Seal unless the flooring manufacturer supplies a type of adhesive that is compatible with CPD® Chlorinated Rubber Cure & Seal.
