CPD®Asphalt Fiber Expansion Joint Filler is made of tough resilient fibers that are securely bonded together by uniform impregnation of a bituminous binder.

Can be used as a filler strip in isolation and expansion joints in concrete floors, runways, highways, curb and gutters, driveways and sidewalks.

Place CPD® Asphalt Fiber Expansion Joint Filler in the joint so that the exposed edge is flush with the surface of the concrete.
Where a sealant will be installed over the expansion joint filler, recess the joint filler in the joint sufficiently to receive either a bond breaker or a backer rod allowing sufficient space for the sealant (usually 3/8" (9.5 mm) to ½"(12.7 mm) sealant depth).

• use bond breaker tape or joint backer rod between the sealant and CPD® Asphalt Fiber Expansion Joint Filler.
