Author Topic: preparing exterior walls before water proofing  (Read 3824 times)

My wall below ground has a black tar water proofing.
There are some cracks and the basement floods.
Do I have to remove the old tar before applying a paint on rubber water proofing?

We like to apply to bare concrete. You might try a test to see if the new material will stick before you try a short cut.
