Author Topic: Basement Leak question  (Read 4803 times)
« on: March 20, 2006, 08:06:11 PM »

as per our conversation, i have a pretty major water leak in my basement but since there is drywall up and a subfloor i can't tell where it is coming from. as mentioned, i had a company do a high pressure clean out of my exterior weeping tile system and they found that the weeping tile is actually sitting on the footing (too high), which as you said is clearly a problem and is likely causing most, if not all of the problem.

i will likely go ahead with an interior drainage system from one of the local specialists to fix the problem - thanks again for the over the phone consultation.
